I have been so busy this month preparing to move into our new Pink Lily headquarters and wanted to update you on what is coming up for us! Most of you know my family and I moved to Nashville, and therefore, we moved our company’s main hub here as well. We realized that as we were hiring new members of our staff, a lot of them were in Nashville, so it just made sense to make it the home base for us and our business. As you can imagine, finding a place to house our operations was not easy, but we are so thrilled with where we’ve ended up. The headquarters are getting closer to being ready, but I thought you might like a sneak peek at what it looks like in the process!
The Space
So what will the space look like?
We have two floors to our new headquarters: the main office and the photoshoot studio. I’ve been working with the construction crew and design team to bring our vision of the perfect headquarters to life.
Main office: This is where our meeting rooms, employee desks, and executive offices live. One thing I love is all the natural light we get in the space. My office is also in a position to see everyone who is working out in the main area which is great for me as someone who loves to collaborate and talk in person with my team. It also has a couple of areas that I’m particularly excited about. One is our nursing suite for mothers who work for us who need a place for privacy. We pride ourselves on supporting working moms, like myself, so I’m so glad we were able to incorporate that in the space. Then we have my personal favorite area, the breakroom. I decided to go with pink cabinets because we all know how much I love the color and I really do love them. We’ll have a coffee and wine bar, green banquets, and a really comfortable space for people to recharge when they need an energy boost.
Studio: Upstairs is where we will have our photoshoot area. We have a large room for our photoshoot samples to make sure we have everything we need for shoot days. Having the separation between the spaces is great because the chaos of a shoot day won’t distract those working downstairs. I’m so glad we ended up on the two levels!
Location
I always find it funny when people ask how close we are to Broadway and we aren’t far off, but we are actually located on Music Row connected to the Ampersand Studio coworking space. Being close to famous music studios is incredibly cool and there are so many great coffee shops in walking distance as well. Couldn’t ask for a better space that feels very Nashville.
I am so excited to see the finished office and to work out of our new home base in February. To get a full sneak peek of our empty headquarters and the construction process check out the newest vlog on my Youtube channel. Subscribe there for more vlogs in the future where I’ll do a walkthrough once we are fully moved in!
Feel free to send comments and questions about the space that I can answer in my next video. I’m so excited to see what this next chapter brings.
