My family loves all things fruit related which is why I knew I wanted a simple dessert option that included different fruits. This Star Spangled Shortcakes recipe is perfect for that and honestly can be served all summer long. You can add festive little touches such as mini American flags to incorporate it into different holiday gatherings. I guarantee this will become a new summer go to for you with how simple the recipe is and how much your family loves it!

Ingredients Used:

Prepared Shortcakes

Vanilla Flavored Greek Yogurt

Blueberries

Strawberries

Raspberries

For the delicious shortcakes, follow these simple steps:

1: On a serving board such as this one HERE, gently space out the shortcakes. Using a spoon, scoop the Greek yogurt on top of each shortcake making sure to keep them pretty even. Personally, I recommend not overfilling with the Greek yogurt because you want it to be easy to eat.

2: Cut the strawberries into halves or quarters and place on top of the Greek yogurt along with the blueberries and raspberries. You can add as much or as little fruit as you would like.

3: You’re ready to serve them! Yes, it’s literally that simple. For a fun added touch, throw on a mini American FLAG toothpick and serve at your Fourth of July gathering.
