Chris and I love taking the kids to our local orchard where you can hop on a wagon ride to the apple patch and pick a variety of sweet, crisp apples. They are perfect for all the fall recipes including these Air Fryer Apples. You only need a few ingredients, and they can be whipped up in a matter of minutes which works great on busy school nights. Our kids even consider them a “sweet treat” (or as we say, dessert) which is a win in my book!
Ingredients Needed:
2 apples (We love honeycrisp but any variety will work.)
2 tbsp maple syrup
1 tbsp melted coconut oil
1 tsp cinnamon
To make these yummy air fryer apples, follow the simple steps below:
1: Peel and slice both apples. Then cut all the slices into chunks and pour into a mixing bowl.
2: Add the melted coconut oil, the maple syrup and cinnamon. Mix everything together making sure all the apple chunks are fully coated.
3: Line your air fryer insert with parchment paper or spray with nonstick cooking spray. Pour in the apples and cook on 380 degrees for 10 minutes. If you prefer for them to be on the crispier side, you could cook them for an extra 3-4 minutes.
4: Remove the apples from the air fryer and scoop into a bowl. Lightly drizzle with maple syrup and enjoy! If you wanted to serve the apples as more of a dessert option, you could add a scoop of vanilla ice cream and/or whip cream. Super easy dessert!
If you want to sneak in a fruit for your kiddos or have a quick go to recipe for your next girls night, you’ve got to give these air fryer apples a try. I promise all of your guests and family will love them! Tag me in your apple creations as I would love to see your variations on them. Enjoy!
