When you think of a food item that represents the holidays, a candy cane is one of the first that comes to mind. I wanted to share a savory way you can bring the spirit of the candy to your Christmas events! It’s tasty, easy, and a great focal piece to your holiday spread.

Ingredients Needed:

3-4 Roma Tomatoes

1 PKG Fresh Mozzarella Slices

Drizzle of Extra Virgin Olive Oil

Balsamic Vinegar Glaze

Pinch of Salt

Pinch of Basil

Thinly Sliced Toasted Baguettes

To make this fun candy cane caprese, follow the simple steps below:

1: Thinly Slice 3-4 Roma Tomatoes

2: Pull Apart the Fresh Mozzarella Slices

3: Place the Tomatoes and Mozzarella Slices on your board, rotating them in the shape of a candy cane

4: Lightly drizzle Extra Virgin Olive Oil over the cheese and tomatoes & brush evenly

5: Drizzle Balsamic Vinegar Glaze over cheese and tomatoes

6: Add a few pinches of Salt and Basil over cheese and tomatoes

7: Add thinly sliced toasted baguettes

8: Add in a small bowl of Balsamic Vinegar Glaze for dipping!
