With my kids sports/extracurricular activities being in full swing, I knew I wanted to have more options for dinner that were quick to make yet something everyone would enjoy. These pull apart rolls are absolutely delicious, easy to throw together and a family favorite. I guarantee they will be a hit with your family too!

Ingredients Needed:

1 (15 oz) package of 12 count rolls (I personally love to use Hawaiian rolls. The sweetness gives as an extra added flavor.)

1 lb of thinly sliced deli chicken

8 slices of bacon, cooked & crumbled

12 slices colby jack cheese

1/3 cup of ranch dressing (Hidden Valley is our favorite!)

1/2 cup butter

1 tbsp chopped fresh chives

1 tsp garlic salt

1/2 tsp onion powder

To make this delicious recipe, follows these simple steps:

1: Preheat your oven to 350 degrees. Go ahead and grab a cookie sheet such as THIS and line it with aluminum foil. Lightly spray the aluminum foil with cooking spray to keep the rolls from sticking.

2: Grab a cutting board such as this ONE, and set the rolls on top. Carefully slice the rolls in half and set the top half’s to the side and the bottom half’s on the lined cookie sheet. You want to make sure to use a bread knife such as THIS when cutting the rolls.

3: You will now need to carefully pull the bottom rolls apart but leave them on the lined baking sheet. I would recommend to have the rolls close to touching because you will be layering the essentials.

4: Over medium heat, add in the butter, chopped chives, garlic salt and onion powder. Heat until the butter is melted and everything is mixed together.

5: Pour the melted mixture into a bowl and BRUSH the bottom half’s of all the rolls. You can brush on as much or as little as you want, but I would recommend using about 1/3 of the mixture. You will need more of this mixture while compiling the rolls.

6: Start layering the cheese. You want to make sure all the bottoms of the rolls are covered hence it’s okay if the cheese overlaps. Now add the sliced deli chicken. Again, you can add as much or as little as you would like but I would suggest make an even row across the rolls and then add more accordingly.

7: Sprinkle the bacon crumbles over the top of the deli chicken, and then drizzle the ranch dressing overtop.

8: Add another layer of the colby jack cheese, and then brush on more of the butter mixture. Place the top half’s of the rolls on top and brush on the remainder of the butter mixture.

9: Cover the rolls loosely with the aluminum foil and bake for about 20-30 minutes. You want to make sure the tops are golden brown and the cheese is fully melted. PLATE the rolls and enjoy!

These would even be a great option when hosting a party or family gathering. You could make a couple batches ahead of time, keep them refrigerated and then bake them closer to time of your guests arriving. Win win! Feel free to tag me if you try this delicious recipe. Have fun baking!
