Our House

Our house is FINALLY making some progress after a super slow start. Once it broke ground back in August, we had so many delays. Lumber took forever due to Covid issues and framing just started last month. They are now moving pretty quickly though and we’ve had several walkthroughs in the last few weeks. 

I am so torn on what style I am going with still for this house. I want it to be modern and glam but also casual with a touch of farmhouse. Trying to figure out how to put all that together. It’s tough making all the decisions with a custom build.

I thought I would share some of the style inspo that my designer pulled together for me and the direction we are thinking for the house. 

I really love these mood boards. I want to bring together the black Iron windows with similar features throughout the home. We’ve added in a door to our pantry in the Kitchen and doing one similar to the last mood board above. 

Once I get back from our Spring shoot then we should have a few more design meetings and start discussing cabinets and flooring.  Get ready for more home inspiration posts and polls on my Instagram and Facebook Group. I need all the help I can get with this!
