I wanted to do something fun for the kids since lately all the fun drinks have been for adults. During the summer I like to do interactive recipes with the kids and they really enjoy them. This Lemonade Bar was probably the easiest thing to put together and it was fun for the whole family, especially on a hot summer day. You can even make it adult friendly, too. I’ll share how!
Ingredients:
All Natural Lemonade
BlueBerry Lemonade
Strawberry Lemonade
(You can use any flavor of lemonade)
Raspberries
Lemons
Limes
Grapefruit
Blueberries
Strawberries
If you want to make it an Adult beverage you could add:
Vodka
Champagne
Sparkling Wine
Instructions:
First, I put each flavor of the lemonade in a carafe glass for a more aesthetically pleasing look to the lemonade bar.
I then washed all the fruit to prepare before cutting.
Cut the strawberries in half, or you can keep them whole if you’d like, but I cut them so they are easier to eat later.
Cut the lemons, limes and grapefruit into wedges.
Place all of your fruit in individual bowls.
Set up:
I used a marble round board that spun to place the lemonade on. It made grabbing the glass more efficient to get to all the lemonade and it gave the space dimension.
Next, I placed the bowls of fruit around the lemonade to add flavor & garnish. Place them in order where you see fit.
Lastly, If you want an adult drink option, you can add Sparkling Wine, Champagne or Vodka. I placed the bottles in a tin bucket with ice to chill.
This is a great idea for simply a family gathering to celebrate a holiday, or a baby shower, lemonade themed party, or simply to make at home! Get creative with your lemonade bar and theme it for whatever gathering or party you are hosting next!
