This cool, fall air has me wanting all the warm recipes, and I have found the perfect Spiked Crockpot Apple Cider that would be perfect sipping on by a warm fire or even for a festive family gathering. It’s easy to make considering you throw all the ingredients into a crockpot and let it simmer until ready to enjoy!

Ingredients Used:

1 Gallon of Apple Cider

1 Liter of Whiskey

2-3 Tsp of Star Anise

1-2 Tbsp of Whole Cloves

3 Cinnamon Sticks

2 Oranges

2 Lemons

Follow these steps to make this delicious spiked cider:

1: Evenly cut the lemons and oranges into slices and set aside.

2: In your CROCKPOT, pour in the entire jug of apple cider and then add in the cinnamon sticks, Star Anise and cloves. You can use whole Star Anise in place of the extract if you choose.

3: Carefully add in the oranges and lemons, and stir everything together and let the mixture simmer on low for approximately 5 hours.

4: You will now pour in the entire bottle of Whiskey and mix everything together. Close the lid and let the mixture simmer again for an hour.

5: Scoop the drink mixture into GLASSES and serve!

I know you are going to love this Spiked Apple Cider just as much as I do! It’s packed full of fall flavor which was a hit amongst my family. You could easily serve this at any work party, game night with friends or even at home with your special someone for a lazy night in. Make sure to tag me if you give this recipe a try!
