Since the holiday festivities are quickly approaching and being in the midst of the fall season, I thought it’d be fun to create a Champagne Apple Cider Mimosa that would be the perfect drink at any gathering. As most of you know, Champagne is my favorite go to drink which is why I knew I wanted to incorporate not only Champagne but my favorite brand of Champagne, Korbel. Korbel California Champagne is a brand I have been loyal to for years and love to make festive drinks with for family gatherings, “Friendsgiving” and even girls night with my friends. It’s always a hit!

To make this Korbel Apple Cider Mimosa, follow these simple steps:

1: In a small ramekin, mix together the cinnamon and nutmeg spices and set aside. I would recommend mixing about 2 tbsp of each since you will be coating the rims of your Champagne glasses with the mixture.

2: Carefully place the rim of your Champagne glass into the caramel dip making sure to create a coating around the entire rim. For all you caramel lovers, you can definitely create a thicker coating if you choose to! For me personally, I like a little extra caramel on mine which my friends seem to enjoy as well.

3: While holding your Champagne glass over the cinnamon/nutmeg mixture, lightly sprinkle the mixture of spices over the caramel coating creating a thin layer.

4: Now fill the Champagne glass about 1/4-1/3 of the way with apple cider followed by the orange juice. I recommend adding the orange juice until your glass is about halfway full. You will then top off the rest of your glass with the Korbel California Champagne.

5: For an extra touch, you could toss in a cinnamon stick and add an apple slice for garnish! Time to enjoy!
