This week for Try on Tuesday, Taylor and Merritt joined me to try on a few restocks and new pieces over on my Instagram Stories @torigerbig. We showed what the items would look like in three different sizes. We describe the fit, material, what size we are wearing and how we would style the piece. Instagram stories expire after 24 hours so each week we will release a blog with the items we tried on with descriptions to reference in the future. I hope this helps you with size questions when you shop.
First up are these paperbag waist distressed mom jeans that we are OBSESSED with. Everytime these are restocked, they sell out so fast.The material is 93% cotton, 5% polyester, 2% spandex. These have the fun distressing in the legs. These are not fitted and are made to fit like a mom jean with a true to size fit. They have a higher waist fit with some stretch around the waist.

How to style:
We styled the jeans with the new Admire from afar black square neck bodysuit. What is so great about these, is that you can wear them as a casual look or dress them up for whatever look you want to achieve. Want a casual look? Pair with a graphic tee and sandals. Want more of an edgy look? Paired with a fitted crop top, leather jacket and white booties are cute heels. There are endless ways to wear these jeans.
Mine & Merritt’s Jeans // Taylor’s Jeans
Although we are right in the middle of summer, we are thinking about fall, one of our favorite times of the year. This top dropped in last week’s collection and is great as a transitional piece into fall. The material is 100% cotton and has more of a gauze look to it. It is more of a high low style blouse that scoops lower in the back to cover. It also has balloon sleeves with the cutest v-neck collar. It’s very flowy and fits a little bigger.

How to style:
This top could go casual or super dressy, depending on the occasion. Here we have it dressed for a casual look. Merritt and I wore denim jeans with brown booties as a more fall look. If you want to go for a more summery look, Taylor paired the top with the Everly white denim jeans. You can also wear denim shorts, too.

Another restock that is one of my absolute favorites!! This kimono is a mesh material made of 95% polyester 8% spandex. It is stretchy, floor length and fits a little bit bigger. It also has the cutest side slits.

How to style:
We styled the kimono in two different ways to show how you can style it. Merritt & I styled it with a black ribbed midi for a more classy and dressier look. We paired it with sandals, but you can dress it up with heels or blocked heels to elevate the look. Taylor is styled with jeans and a bodysuit for a casual look. She also has it paired with sandals, but could easily elevate the look with a wedge or block heel.

To go along with transitioning to fall, THIS TOP IS ADORABLE! It is a one shoulder cropped blouse. The sleeve is more of a balloon style sleeve with elastic at the waist and across the shoulder for comfort. The material is 100% cotton with the gauze material look.

How to style:
This top is more of a dressier top to wear for fall. I have it paired with denim jeans and brown booties. Taylor styled it with white denim jeans, block heels and a hat. This top would also be very cute with flare jeans!
CARE LESS EMBROIDERED SAND GRAPHIC SWEATSHIRT
Taylor’s Skirt // Taylor’s Sneakers
The last item we tried on is this new version of our graphic sweatshirts. It’s an embroidered sweatshirt. 100% cotton and fits true to size. You could size it down for a more fitted look, but I like mine more oversized.

How to style:
I styled this embroidered graphic sweatshirt as a “mom on the go” look with jeans and sneakers. Taylor styled her graphic sweatshirt as more of a casual sporty look with a skirt and sneakers. Although sweatshirts are typically a lounge style, you can certainly dress it up for a cute casual look!
