Under The Sun Collection Try On

Last week I was on vacation in Florida with my family and missed our Tuesday Try On. We are back and this week we tried on items from the Under The Sun Collection! Every Tuesday we choose 5 or 6 pieces to try-on over on my Instagram stories @torigerbig. We describe the fit, material, what size we are wearing and how we would style the piece. Instagram stories expire after 24 hours so each week we will release a blog with the items we tried on with descriptions to reference in the future.
MILES AWAY PINK PLAID OVERSIZED BUTTON DOWN BLOUSE
This flannel is adorable!! Perfect for bonfire nights, or to level up your outfit with some dimension! The material is 50% polyester, 50% cotton. It is a true oversized flannel with a touch of summer pink and great to transition into fall. It has functional buttons all the way up and is a true flannel like feel.
Size Info: I am 5’8, 36B bra, wearing size small and Taylor is 5’0, 38DDD bra, wearing size XL. Made to fit oversized
How to style: I styled this flannel with a basic tank, shorts, and sandals. You can easily take the flannel off and wrap around your waist, add a ball cap and sneakers for a more casual sporty look. Taylor styled hers with jeans, sandals and tied up the bottom right at the top of her jeans. You can also pair with a graphic tee & leggings.
MEANT TO BE TWO PIECE SAGE SET
This set deserves a GNO!! It is a 2 piece set with zippers in the back. The top is cropped with ruffled sleeves and can be worn with a regular bra, but preferred to wear a strapless bra. The skirt also has a zipper in the back and a ruffle wrap piece that ties on the side to adjust for your comfort. The material is 100% Polyester with some stretch.
Size Info: I am 5’8, 36B bra, wearing size small and Taylor is 5’0, 38DDD bra, wearing size 2XL. Made fitted. If you are between sizes, size up
How to style: This is more of a dressier piece, but can be worn separately. The top can be worn with other shorts or jeans, and the skirt can be worn with other tops as you prefer. We both dressed up the set with wedges and heels.
BITTERSWEET MEMORY STAR WAFFLE KNIT GREY TANK
Last minute Fourth of July tank! Waffle knit material 88% polyester, 9% rayon, 2% spandex. It is made to fit loosely. This tank has thicker straps and a regular bra can be worn with it. It has stars all throughout, front functional pocket detail and v-neck.
Size Info: I am 5’8, 36B bra, wearing size small and Taylor is 5’0, 38DDD bra, wearing size 2XL, but could wear XL comfortably. Made to fit loose. True to size.
How to style: This is a great tank to wear throughout summer. I styled with a pair of shorts and front tucked. Taylor styled hers with jeans and sandals. This is also a great tank to throw on over a swimsuit for the summer.
I KEEP HOPING DITSY FLORAL MINT ROMPER
We are obsessed with this fun & girly romper! The material is 100% Rayon and fully lined underneath.The sleeve detail is a bell sleeve style, waist is smocked and very stretchy with a front button clasp at the chest to cover.
Size Info: I am 5’8, 36B bra, wearing a small size and it’s on the shorter side. Taylor is 5’0, 38DDD bra, wearing size XL and fits perfectly on her.
How to style: Because of the length, I would wear sandals since I am taller. Taylor styled with Heels/Wedges since she is shorter and the length was fine on her. This one is still available in Small-Large.
MUSIC MELODY TAUPE STRIPE TIE FRONT BUTTON TANK
This tank is very light and airy, perfect for the summer heat. The material is 100% rayon and has absolutely no stretch to it, but has room to fit comfortably. Front buttons are functional and the bottom tie can be adjusted to your liking. The straps are thin and it’s recommended to wear a strapless bra or even wear a bralette underneath. The back also has great length.
Size Info: I am 5’8, 36B bra, wearing a small size and Taylor is 5’0, 38DDD bra, wearing size 2XL for more room in the chest.
How to style: This tank can be styled with shorts or jeans. It is more of a casual style tank but can be dressed up with a blazer and heels or wedges for a work look.
